Christine’s yoga classes range from relaxing and restorative (Yin-style), to challenging. Most classes are suitable for beginners to advanced, unless the class description indicates otherwise. Christine’s training and teaching style are influenced by Hatha yoga, Ashtanga, Anusara-inspired, and Iyengar, in addition to mindfulness and meditative practices.
Generally, Christine teaches an alignment-based flow style class that many describe as challenging, uplifting, and inspiring. Christine often takes time to work-shop postures in class, teach alignment, and also promote mindfulness as you explore your body and develop your practice. Do, however, expect to work hard, sweat, and have fun!
In classes over time, you can expect to become more aware of your body and mind, build strength, stamina and flexibility, and leave class feeling more open, relaxed, and connected.
